In the margin of the sketched original for Josef Frank’s pattern Tulpaner, flowers in varying forms can be seen. These tulips became the starting point for artist and art director Marika Vaccino Andersson’s work on hand-painted glass eggs. By exploring the variation in each brushstroke, she has allowed the tulips to take shape anew. Handcrafted from glass beads, these flowers are designed by Danish artist Katrine Roug. The series includes smaller pendants and larger blooms, among them tulips.
