In the exhibition “Sequence of Spaces”, works by Anna Petrus (1886–1949) meet contemporary art by Spanish architect and artist Elvira Solana. Solana’s spatial scenography offers new perspectives on Anna Petrus’ artistic practice as a sculptor and artist.
The exhibition features sculptures from the Petrus family collection alongside some of the most iconic objects Anna Petrus designed for Svenskt Tenn. It also presents archival pieces that are now being reintroduced, creating a bridge between history and the present day.
“Sequence of Spaces” highlights Anna Petrus's multifaceted artistic practice and how her distinctive visual language continues to fascinate – a century after her collaboration with Svenskt Tenn began.
