Tolvekarna Plant Pot
Available in a range of beautiful colours, our Tolvekarna plant pots are perfect for growing plants both indoors and outdoors. The pot, along with its accompanying brass saucer, was designed by Erika Pekkari in 2011 and features Svenskt Tenn's classic emblem.
Tolvekarna
The pot was named after Estrid Ericson’s summer house, Tolvekarna. Designer Erika Pekkari describes the design as simple and practical, made with a clear purpose in mind.
Erika Pekkari “To sow a seed, wait and watch something grow — the entire process is sensorial. It is life in constant evolution, decay and recreation. Plants are forgiving and poetic, the Tolvekarna plant pots were designed to distill these aspects.”
How the plant pot is made
Erika Pekkari’s pots are produced at the Porcelain Factory in Lidköping, Sweden. It takes approximately two weeks to produce a pot, and all eight employees at the factory play a part in the process.

Designer Erika Pekkari thinks of her work like vegetation in a landscape of experiences, where ideas grow and sprout. Her love of botany has been around for many years, and she has a long experience of designing clay pots.
